dov4l software package provides program to set and query settings of video4linux devices, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dov4l
dov4l is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dov4l package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dov4l *
You will get with dov4l package name, version, architecture and description in a table
